About Balance Point Heating & Cooling

As the Balance Point general manager Justin wears many hats including, but not limited to, estimating, layout, and installation in addition to his general management duties. In his free time he enjoys vacationing, fishing, hiking, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Kate is an owner operator of Balance Point, spending her day managing the office operations including human resources, accounts management, and customer relations. Outside of work Kate enjoys family time with her husband and two kids, gardening, walking their dog, Lulu, and hanging out with friends.

John is the Lead Installer at Balance Point so he is the main dude to hook up your new AC or heater! In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his family and going on fishing trips.

Eric is a service technician extraordinaire and a master of customer service. His years of experience allows him to troubleshoot and diagnose even the most difficult of service problems on heating and cooling equipment. His favorite pastimes are hanging out with his family and friends and rooting for the Kansas City Royals.

Service technician and installer by day….dad and family man by night. In all his spare time Corey enjoys taking his kids on golf cart rides, cooking and being outdoors.

In addition to being on the installation crew Chris can be found running around the city to pick up parts, equipment, and supplies and getting them where they need to be. He spends his free time going to the lake with his family and taking his daughter fishing.

Dana is the operations manager of Balance Point. She acts as the head of Planned Maintenance customer accounts, oversees inventory, accounts receivables, and maintains the service schedule. Outside of work Dana likes to spend her time with her husband and two kids, reading, and socializing with friends.

As the administrative/commercial project assistant at Balance Point, Brooke is the first point of contact if you call us! Among many other shared tasks, she takes care of accounts payable, warranty processing, and assists with commercial construction projects when needed.

When not in the office, you’ll find her playing with her two children, thrift shopping, watching competition reality shows, or starting a new craft project.

Cindy is Justin’s right hand for managing commercial construction projects. From estimating to the management of awarded jobs she is our commercial guru. She loves being outdoors whether she is gardening, kayaking, or bike riding. Most of all, she enjoys spending time and going on trips with her grandchildren.

John is one of our newest service technicians. He joined the Balance Point team in July 2024 after earning his HVAC certification from Johnson County Community College. He puts his skills to use performing both routine maintenance as well as diagnosing and completing repairs to get customer’s heating & cooling restored for optimal comfort. Outside of work John enjoys trying new foods as well as spending time with family and friends.

Seth earned his HVAC technical certificate from Metropolitan Community College and he joined the Balance Point team in June 2025 as a service technician in training. In his free time he enjoys deer hunting, riding electric bikes, solving sudoku puzzles and spending time with friends and family.

Seth started with Balance Point in July 2025 as an apprentice for the installation team. He is learning the role of system replacements and new installations. In his free time Seth enjoys hanging out with his family and friends and working on his car.

Dalton joined the Balance Point team in August 2025 as a sheet metal and shop apprentice. He can be found helping in our shop as well as on the jobs. He also picks up and runs parts, equipment and materials as needed throughout the metro. In his free time outside of work he enjoys hunting, playing sports, and spending time with his friends and family.
